Steps to Save a Section in Squarespace 7.1
Log in to your Squarespace account by visiting Squarespace.com and accessing your website dashboard. Open the page that contains the section you want to save.
Hover over the section you want to save until the section controls appear, which will allow you to interact with different section settings.
Click on the heart icon in the section controls to save the section, making it available for reuse across different pages on your website.
Steps to Add a Saved Section to Another Page
Open the page where you want to add the saved section by navigating to the relevant page from your Squarespace dashboard.
Click the “Add Section” button by scrolling to the area where you want to insert the saved section and clicking on the “Add Section” button.
Go to the “Saved Sections” tab to view all previously saved sections and access the one you want to use.
Click the saved section you want to insert into your page.
Customize the section if needed by editing the text, images, and styles, ensuring the design fits seamlessly with the rest of your page.
How to Manage Saved Sections (Delete a Saved Section)
Open the Squarespace editor and navigate to any page where you can add or modify sections. Click on the “Add Section” button to access the saved sections library.
Click on the Saved Sections tab to view all previously saved sections.
Hover over the saved section you want to delete until a white checkbox appears in the left corner of the saved section image. Click the checkbox to select it.
A pop-up will appear at the bottom of the screen with a trash can icon, an option to select all, and an option to deselect all.
Click the trash can icon to delete the selected saved section(s). The section will be removed immediately. Keep in mind that this action is irreversible.
